Okay guys, here's the deal. Having three teams sucks. The comp teams have nine players, and that means that during any given point in the game, three will be sitting out. The individual will only get to play six points before having to wait three more points. That's 33% of your play time off the courts! Here's Ron's proposal:

Ron is willing to pay $400 of his own money to give us another team. This means that instead of having three teams of 7-9, we will have four teams of 6 and one of seven. This also means that we can form an Advanced team. Ron is really going out for us here. In return, all he asks is that we find a weekend to stop by and pull weeds in his yard. I think all 25 of us can collaborate on a given Saturday this summer and return this huge favor for Ron.

After some time of toil, I (with the help of some others) formed four new teams. 1 Advanced, 2 Competitives, and 1 Recreational. Here they are:

Alyssa Luong, Jennie Kayasone, Daphne Wong, Joshua Lau, Aaron Hui, Christopher Shinn, and Benji Saetang

Comptetive 2 - "The Justice League" Captain: Steven Lee Co-Captain: Amanda Ly

Steven Lee, Amanda Ly, Daisy Li, Mitchell Jung, Corrina Hui, Jonathan Lee, and Frank Yang.

Advanced - "Mikey & The Power Rangers" Captain: Jeremy Wong Co-Captain: Becca Jia

Jeremy Wong, Becca Jia, Aaron Wong, Mikey Brogonia, April Villacampa, and Tommy Doan.

Okay, things are starting to get rolling!!! I'm uber excited. If you're interested, I need the form below filled out, with a $50 check made out to Kendrick Shu (i'm not kidding) with your name in the memo. We will fundraise throughout summer, and are hoping to get enough money back for each person to receive $10. So essentially, you're paying $40 for this year's CCU Volleyball participation.
